Several of our ward joined our stake on the assignment to plant flowers at the temple. Many hands make light work. All are looking forward to see the fruit of our labor!
It was interesting to hear the conversations about the joy of being there and the love you feel from our Savior for assisting in creating such an inviting place to visit.
Some ideas that were mentioned about seeing this experience though a gospel lens included:
1. The planting was not perfect. However, God will take our imperfect effort and make it blossom into something beautiful!
2. The tulip bulbs planted will not bloom until spring. Some things take time for them to grow into what God knows they can become.
3. The work is more enjoyable with friends.
As you see these pictures, we invite you to think about your own gospel connections.
PS. This print will be enlarged and available to view in the Hallway across from the Bishops office.
